The 25th Harm Reduction International Conference (HR17) is about to take place on 14-17.5. in Montreal, Canada. More than 1000 participants will be introduced to the latest developments in harm reduction through panel discussions, working groups, exhibitions as well as film screenings. HR17 provides a platform for discussion and international transfer of knowledge and best practice. The concept of harm reduction encompasses drug policy approaches that concentrate primarily on the reduction of the negative health-, social- and societal consequences of drug use. GPDPD will be actively involved in Side Events at the HR17 Conference, contributing experiences of German development cooperation.
